Founded in 1836, the Footwear Industry Trust is the only charity in the UK to support people who have worked in ALL sectors of the footwear industry from design all the way through to retail. Since 2009 we’ve distributed over £1 million in cash grants to ordinary people who found themselves in extraordinary situations, and every penny of what we raise goes to those who need it most. So where do you come in? Firstly, we really need you to spread the word. We want everyone who works in the trade to know who we are and that we’re here to offer support. Last year over 600 grants were made and with your input we hope to provide even more.

Footwear Industry Trust Follow and Win Facebook and Instagram competition

1. Terms and conditions – Footwear Industry Trust Follow and Win Facebook and Instagram competition. To participate in this competition, users must start following @footwearindustrytrust on Instagram and/or Facebook between 24th June 2024 and 24th November 2024 to participate.
2. A user can then add further entries by liking a competition post (max. 1 extra entry), tagging a friend/s in the comments (max. 3 tagged comments and 1 entry per tagged comment), saving the post (max. 1 extra entry) and sharing the competition post to their stories (max. 1 extra entry) on Instagram and/or Facebook between 24th June 2024 and 24th November 2024.
3. This competition will run until 23:59 on Sunday 24th November 2024. Entries made by the website contact form or direct reply to this page will not be accepted.
4. There will be 1 winner per draw who will be selected at random. Draws will take place on the 25th November 2024. Entries made after this point will not be counted. Entrants must fulfil the criteria in point 1 above and those in point 2 for any additional entries.
5. The contest is open to UK residents only. You must follow any UK laws in respect of Instagram, Facebook, social media and competition entries and where restrictions apply you must adhere to these.
6. The prize consists of a £100 Amazon gift card. This can be redeemed at www.amazon.co.uk.
7. If you are selected as a winner, you will need to provide your email address, contact phone number and home address. Your prize will be delivered electronically by email.
8. We reserve the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
9. No purchase is necessary; however you will need an internet connection and access to Instagram and/or Facebook. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the promotion, including in relation to the use of the internet.
10. We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.
11. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
12. The winner will be contacted within 3 working days of the competition ending.
13. The decisions of the promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. By taking part in this promotion, all participants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data and any images submitted with their entry for marketing purposes.
